We provide housing and a holistic programme of recovery to women who have exited sex trafficking, who are over 18 years of age.
We are unable to accommodate those who are currently pregnant and/or have children accompanying them; women who are currently dependent on drugs or alcohol; women who do not speak nor understand English; and women who present high-risk mental health disorders (i.e. Dissociative Identity Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder).
Residents can stay at our safe home for up to 16 months
FREEDOM OF RELIGION
We are motivated by the Christian faith to welcome residents into the safe home and provide trauma-informed care to each woman. Staff and volunteers may pray, worship, read the Bible, and seek God’s counsel at different times in different situations whilst at the safe home.
Although residents are not required to have a Christian faith, they must, however, be open to being surrounded by Christians who might engage in faith-based activities, and should respect those individuals and their beliefs/practices.
